This is the process whereby investors' paper share certificates are replaced with electronic records of ownership. The investors can dematerialize only those share certificates that are already registered in their name and belong to the list of securities admitted for dematerialization at the depositories.
This Dematerialisation is now called electronic Lodgement; it can be processed using the standard dematerialization form.
